La Plagne is a large ski resort in the French Alps made up of several interconnected villages at different elevations. It forms part of the Paradiski ski area together with Les Arcs, linked by the Vanoise Express cable car. The resort is particularly known for its wide pistes and terrain suited to beginners and intermediate skiers, making it one of the most popular family destinations in France. Higher slopes provide reliable snow conditions and excellent views of the surrounding mountains.
